Matt Smith's End of the Spectrum

Melbourne-based writer and journalist. Purveyor of finally crafted radio plays. A Muppet of a man.

About Me

Since 2010 Matt Smith has tried his hand at journalism. He has completed his Masters of Global Communications at La Trobe University, taught for two years in their journalism program, and received the runner up for the 2011 Melbourne Press Club award for student journalism.

He has had articles published in The Age, The National Times, Crikey, The Punch, Encore Magazine, and more, as well as produced more than three hours of content on ABC Radio National. He edited upstart magazine for summer 2012, and was the editor of Crikey comedy blog Laugh Track from 2011 – 2013.

His amusing radio plays can be found at Nightlight Productions.
